Parent's Home Decorating was established June 1, 1978 as Wrobel and Parent, Inc. The partners sold everything from Pittsburgh Paint, wallcovering, blinds, and drapery/window treatments, to all types of floor coverings.

In 1983, Mr. Parent took over as Rod Parent, Inc./Parent's Home Decorating and now specializes in flooring. Their extensive lines include carpet, wood, and laminate. A decorator is on staff to assist in coordination of flooring, wallcovering, fabric, draperies, and furniture.
